Dr. Alyssa Avila is a Seattle transplant from Los Angeles, California. Her passion for sports rehabilitation and health care started from her involvement with team sports growing up. Through rehabing her own injuries with her Chiropractor, she developed a love for Chiropractic and what it has to offer. She received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from Lake Superior State University where she played DII Softball. She then pursued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West where she received her Chiropractic Degree. During her time at PCCW, she spent time with Sports Council, Motion Palpation Institute and Rehab 2 Performance clubs which allowed her to get involved with the community and help teach other students various rehabilitation and treatment techniques. Dr. Avila is trained in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys playing sports, playing guitar, fishing, and traveling!
